Command scripts are saved as JavaScript. You can open and edit them in any text editor, such as NotePad (Windows) or SimpleText (Macintosh).
You can write scripts in JavaScript and use Fireworks-specific commands to control Fireworks commands and settings.
To edit selected steps as JavaScript in a text editor:
1 | Select a range of steps. |
2 | Copy the steps: |

Click the Copy button at the bottom of the History panel. |

3 | Switch to a text editing application. |
4 | Paste the steps. |
